- CFIN never combines or converts figures across accounts held in different currencies
- An account picker now appears on Overview, Performance and Vault when you hold more than one currency
- Per-account tables still show every account separately, in its own currency
If you hold accounts in more than one currency, several dashboard pages now show an account picker instead of blending figures together. It appears on Overview, Performance and Vault, and it matters because CFIN deliberately never combines or converts figures across currencies, so there is no single blended number to look for.
Why figures aren’t combined
Combining or converting figures across currencies would produce a number that looks precise but hides what’s actually happening in each currency separately. This is a deliberate rule, not a current limitation that’s planned to be lifted: doing so would always involve an exchange-rate assumption that isn’t genuinely part of your account’s own activity.
Using the account picker
- Look for the account picker, typically labelled “All accounts” with a dropdown arrow, at the top of pages like Overview, Performance and Vault.
- When your accounts are in more than one currency, “All accounts” is not offered for money figures; the picker instead defaults to your largest account by equity.
- A short note beneath the hero explains that your accounts are in more than one currency and that you should pick one to see its figures.
- Tables that show a row per account, such as a performance comparison or a fees breakdown, continue to show every account separately in its own currency.
What you need to do
Use the account picker to choose which account’s figures you want to view when you hold more than one currency. If you manage several accounts in different currencies, it’s worth checking each one individually on the pages that matter most to you, rather than relying on a single combined number the product deliberately doesn’t offer.
