Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") governs your use of the CFIN algorithmic trading platform ("Service"). By using CFIN, you agree to comply with this Policy and our Terms of Service.

Scope: This Policy applies to all users, including trial users, paid subscribers, and administrators.

You may use CFIN for the following purposes:

Personal Trading

• Connect your personal MT5 trading account
• Use our algorithmic trading EA (Expert Advisor) on your account
• Monitor your trading performance via the dashboard
• Adjust EA settings within permitted parameters

Account Management

• Manage your subscription and payment settings
• Update your personal information and preferences
• Complete required verification steps (email, address, MT5 credentials)
• Apply valid referral codes or promotional codes during registration
• Contact support for legitimate inquiries

Data Access

• View your own trading data and performance metrics
• Export your personal data (subject to GDPR rights)
• Review historical trades and account statements

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

Account Abuse

• Multiple Accounts: Creating multiple accounts to bypass subscription limits or trial restrictions
• Account Sharing: Sharing your login credentials with third parties
• False Information: Providing false, inaccurate, or misleading information during registration
• Impersonation: Impersonating another person or entity

Technical Abuse

• Unauthorized Access: Attempting to access accounts, systems, or data you don't have permission to access
• Reverse Engineering: Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract source code from our EA or platform
• Scraping: Automated scraping, crawling, or harvesting of data from the platform
• API Abuse: Excessive API requests, rate limit circumvention, or denial-of-service attacks
• Security Vulnerabilities: Exploiting security vulnerabilities for any purpose (report them to security@cfin.be instead)
• Malware: Uploading or distributing malware, viruses, or malicious code

Intellectual Property Violations

• Redistribution: Redistributing, reselling, or sublicensing access to CFIN or our EA
• Copying: Copying, reproducing, or modifying our proprietary trading algorithms
• Trademark Abuse: Using CFIN's name, logo, or branding without authorization

Financial Misconduct

• Money Laundering: Using CFIN to launder money or facilitate illegal financial transactions
• Fraud: Engaging in fraudulent chargebacks, payment disputes, or refund abuse
• Market Manipulation: Attempting to manipulate markets or engage in illegal trading practices

Referral & Promo Code Abuse

• Self-Referrals: Creating multiple accounts to refer yourself or generate referral rewards
• Fake Referrals: Creating fake or fraudulent accounts to accumulate referral discounts
• Code Sharing for Profit: Selling, trading, or commercially distributing referral or promo codes
• Code Manipulation: Attempting to guess, generate, or brute-force valid promo codes
• Multiple Code Stacking: Attempting to use multiple promo codes on a single subscription when not permitted
• Misrepresentation: Falsely claiming eligibility for broker referral discounts

Illegal Activities

• Illegal Use: Using CFIN for any illegal purpose or in violation of local, state, national, or international law
• Sanctions Violations: Using CFIN from countries subject to international sanctions
• Underage Use: Using CFIN if you are under 21 years of age

Harmful Conduct

• Harassment: Harassing, threatening, or abusing CFIN staff or other users
• Spam: Sending unsolicited commercial messages or spam
• False Reports: Making false or malicious reports to support

CFIN reserves the right to enforce this Policy at our sole discretion. Violations may result in:

Warning

For minor or first-time violations, we may issue a written warning via email.

Temporary Suspension

Your account may be temporarily suspended (7-30 days) for:

• Repeated minor violations
• Moderate violations that don't warrant permanent termination
• Pending investigation of alleged violations

During suspension: Trading will be paused, but you will retain access to view your data.

Permanent Termination

Your account will be immediately and permanently terminated for:

• Severe violations (fraud, hacking, malware distribution)
• Repeated violations after prior warnings
• Illegal activities
• Financial misconduct

Upon termination:

• All access to CFIN will be revoked
• EA will be automatically disabled on your MT5 account
• No refunds will be provided (except as required by law)
• Legal action may be pursued if applicable

Legal Action

For serious violations involving illegal activity, fraud, or significant harm, we may:

• Report you to law enforcement authorities
• Pursue civil or criminal legal action
• Cooperate with investigations by regulatory agencies

What to Include in Your Report

• Your name and contact information
• Description of the violation
• Evidence (screenshots, logs, links, etc.)
• Date and time of the incident
• Account ID or email of the alleged violator (if known)

Confidentiality: All reports are handled confidentially. We will not disclose your identity to the alleged violator without your consent (except as required by law).

CFIN reserves the right to update this Acceptable Use Policy at any time.

Notification of Changes

• Minor Changes: Updated "Last Updated" date, no notification required
• Material Changes: Email notification 14 days before effective date

Your Acceptance

Continued use of CFIN after policy changes constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree with the updated policy, you must cancel your subscription before the effective date.
